SRRS Super Late Models $3000 To-Win, 2 Barrel Late Model $1000 To-Win, and Openwheels $800 To-Win at Duck River Raceway Park on Friday September 28th, 2012

Wheel, TN (09/19/12) – Duck River Raceway Park, LLC will host the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) Super Late Models on Friday September 28th, 2012 with a $3000 to-win 40 lap super late model and a $1000 to-win 25 lap 2 Barrel Late model event.

Returning for the their third trip in 2012 to Duck River Raceway Park, LLC will be the SRRS super late models, last seen at DRRP,LLC on June 28th and 29th for back-to-back $3000 to-win 40 lap events, fans saw the #T1 of East Ridge, TN’s Todd Morrow take back-to-back wins at Duck River Raceway Park, LLC.

On Friday September 28th, 2012 the SRRS super late models will be racing 40 laps in the feature event for $3000 to the winner. Supers will group qualify, based on car count the top cars will be locked into the feature. Those not locked in on time will run heat races. The top qualifiers locked in on time from each group will run a dash for cash and for starting position in the feature event. There will be a $125 entry fee for the super late models.

Also on the grid will be a $1000 to-win 25 Lap 2 Barrel Late Model event. There will be a $40 entry fee for the 2 Barrel late models. Openwheels will be going for a $800 to-win 20 Laps, Openwheels will have a $30 entry fee. Other classes racing are the Pure Stocks for $300 to-win and Pure Ponies $250 to-win, (based on car count) will be in action.

Join us at Duck River Raceway Park, LLC on Friday September 28th, 2012 for the Southern Regional Racing Series Super Late Models, family fun and racing action. Gates open at 4pm, Drivers Meeting at 7:15 pm and Racing to start shortly after drivers meet. General Admission will be $15 Kids 6-12 $5 and Kids 5 and under Free. Pit Admission will be $30,Kids 12 and Under $5.

Friday night September 28th at Duck River Raceway Park in the Super Late Model and 2 Barrel Late Models, timing and scoring will be done by transponders and Raceceivers will be required. Transponders will be available at the SRRS trailer, it’ll be a $25 rental fee. If you do not have a Raceiver of your own, you will be allowed to borrow one for the night but will have to purchase a set of Ear Buds for $5, after puchasing ear buds they'll be yours to keep but must return Raceiver.
